Alternate Rating Search Function:
The Alternate Rating Search function allows you to input a specific
US Motors 4 or 6 digit model number and retrieve the corresponding alternate
rating data (primary and derated horsepower). Input one or two model numbers in the
input boxes. Once you have entered your selection, press the Submit button and the Search
Results will be returned. To clear your entries, press the Reset button.

Designs not included in Alternate Rating Catalog are listed below:
- All Multi-Speed designs
- Designs without a Model Number
- Horsepower & Pole combinations not defined by
NEMA Design B or IEC Design N
- Designs that must perform to a governing
specification includes Efficiency (NNE), Temperature rise limits other than
"F" rise, or restricted performance characteristics. Examples:

Based on your query, the filtered results are returned. -ALT
in the model number field indicates an alternate rating design. Click on the Model
Number to get additional technical data (performance data, nameplate data, dimension
print, connection diagram, etc.) The Alternate Rating Code is displayed along with
whether or not the design Passed or Failed. Click on the Alternate Rating Code to
get a definition of the code. The Alternate Rating Codes are shown below:

- 0 = Parent Design
- 1 = Design N
- 2 = Design # & LRT does not meet IEC Design N Limits
- 3 = Design # & BDT does not meet IEC Design N Limits

The Server Error page will be displayed due to one of the following reasons:
- One of the selection values entered was invalid.
Solution: Enter the query
with different values.
- The query was too large.
Solution: Limit the selection criteria to return
fewer records.
- Your connection to the database server was lost.
Solution: Return to the first
page of the Web Catalog by clicking on the U.S. Motors' logos at the top of
the page.
- The web server is not responding.
Solution: Check your internet connection. If you can access other sites,
